The Place
Based in Sanderson Community House, The Place provides activities for children, young people and adults who live locally.
The Place is about opening opportunities for all, through helping children to improve their wellbeing and grow their confidence and happiness. The Place also supports the community to access support, advice and services.
What do they offer?
The Place is open in Sanderson House from Monday to Wednesday, and each week they have an exciting timetable of free activities for the whole community to get involved with. These include Monday and Wednesday after-school activities with different themes each week; everything from crafts and games to baking and computer skills.
The Place also runs after school Tuesday Tuition for 11-16 year olds locally. This session provides 1:1 academic support for high school aged young people as well as a space to complete homework including access to laptops. Check the website for more details.
Whether it’s something like this you want to get involved in or if you just want to pop along for a cuppa and a chat, their calendar shows what’s on each day and you can access it here The Place – Calendar
