York St John are the university in town, that has a whole host of courses to offer, they do lots of things in the community and have a range of support for its students too.

Wellbeing Team

The Wellbeing team are counsellors and mental health practitioners and can help and support with a range of issues including relationships, bereavement, stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns you may have. The team can offer up to 6 sessions per academic year but if you need some more support they will help you to find it by signposting you to other services. In addition to appointments, the Wellbeing Team offer a drop-in service for YSJ students which runs from 12-3pm every, Tuesday and Thursday during term time. Welfare

York St John also offer support with welfare they can support with practical challenges that may be impacting you or your studies. They help with all sorts of things including, sexual assault, domestic violence, pregnancy, caring responsibilities, bullying and harassment, police or crime matters. HealthAssured
