Dealing with different issues,
managing in different ways

The Place

Based in Sanderson Community House, The Place provides activities for children, young people and adults who live locally.

The Place is about opening opportunities for all, through helping children to improve their wellbeing and mental health and grow their confidence and happiness. The Place also supports the community to access support, advice and services.

What do they offer?

The Place is open Monday to Friday, and each week they have an exciting timetable of free activities for the whole community to get involved with. These include Monday and Wednesday after-school activities with different themes each week; everything from crafts and games to baking and computer skills.

New for September! The Place also runs after school activities on Tuesdays for 11-16 year olds locally. Activities include games, fitness and cooking, as well as a relaxed space for crafts or homework. Check the website for what’s on each week.

Whether it’s something like this you want to get involved in or if you just want to pop along for a cuppa and a chat, their calendar shows what’s on each day and you can access it here The Place – Calendar

Who is it for?

The place offers a range of activities so that the whole community can get involved. All residents of Westfield are welcome and there are things for families, young people and local adults.
