Who are they?

Supporting Young people and adults, older people with dementia and memory loss, as well as people with mental illness and learning disabilities, they create inclusive environments where everyone gets a chance to participate in creative activities.

What do they offer?

IMPs (Inclusive Music Project)
IMPS is year-round fun, inclusive music activities for disabled and non-disabled children and young people.
Senior IMPs is a weekly music group where young people can learn to sing and sign in a choir, make music, play in a band, use music technology and much more. From writing music and working towards performances and workshops, you don’t need any previous experience to get involved.
IMPs Holiday Clubs give children and young people the chance to take part in fun, inclusive music activities during the school holidays.
There are also opportunities to volunteer at the weekly IMPs sessions, as well as training to co-lead  workshops alongside a professional music leader in schools, youth groups and community settings around York.
