What do they offer?

In person support meetings run by peers. Seek Solace does not currently host online support meetings, but there is a lively members’ WhatsApp group.

How do I join Seek Solace?

You can join Seek Solace online or at a support meeting. Membership is free but we invite donations from people if they can afford to contribute.

Where?

Support meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month in the Brierley Room at York Explore Library. The start time of the meeting is 18.00 but we invite people to assemble from 17.45 in the library café. There is a code of conduct at support meetings to protect people from questions that may cause embarrassment.

Social events are held monthly. Typically we meet in a restaurant in York city centre. Details are posted well in advance on the Events section of our website.
