York Youth Council

They are a group of young people who meet fortnightly, run campaigns to improve or change things for young people in York and they make sure the council know what young people want and need in York.

What do they offer?

A space to voice young people’s issues in York and work with people to change these things. A great opportunity to give you a purpose. They meet fortnightly on Wednesday evenings.

Who is it for?

Anyone aged 11 to 18 who lives or goes to school in York.
