City Kick About

Closed for summer holidays

Sessions are designed to encourage individuals aged 8-17 to come down and play football in a relaxed and safe environment. Coaches run sessions which focus on playing matches. These sessions could reduce boredom, get you active and get you working as part of a team. No experience is necessary just bring your mates and have a Kick About.

When?5-6pm – Ages 8 – 12 and 6-7pm – Ages 13 – 17 Cost £1

THURSDAY

Where? Energise pitches, Acomb

When? 5:30-6:25pm – Ages 8 – 12 and 6:30-7:25pm – Ages 13 – 17 Cost £1

 

Tackle it! (18+) Males

Every third Tuesday of the month

Where? @ Portakabin

7.30-9pm- A great place to come and share stories and experiences with other people.

Use the camaraderie to develop a support network
as well.

 

Boot the Blues (18+)

Boot The Blues, is a weekly football session run by York City FC Foundation coaches designed to suit the needs of the participants and providing a social environment to encourage peer support. The fun nature of these offers the participants the opportunity to switch off and let the activity take over, and the social side allows the sense of involvement in a group, social interaction with likeminded individuals and a chance to be themselves.

Where? LNER Community stadium on the 3G pitches

When? Thursdays- 8-9pm for over 18’s.

Walking Football (18+)

Walking Football is just as it sounds…. a slower pace of the beautiful game, open to anyone and ideal for those who want things a bit slower but still taking part and potentially a little healthy competition, but without any physical impact.

Strensall Youth Club 

Closed for summer holidays

Where? Spearehead Hall.

When? 5.30-7.30pm

A place where young people can come together and relax, enjoy a variety of different activities set up by us or chill out and talk to friends.

A group for our young people designed by them!
