Dealing with different issues,
managing in different ways

Sports

I know I’ve said it already but 3, 30 minute exercises a week can have the same effect as low dose antidepressants…. It’s true.

Local Sports Clubs

What do they offer?

A good way to get involved, be active and potentially meet some new people is getting involved with a local sports club. Many clubs have been around for decades and offer training throughout the week.

All these sports (Football, tennis, cricket, netball, hockey, rugby) have multiple clubs in York which you can get involved with where ages can range from as young as u7 all the way through to senior teams.

How to get involved

Best way to find out where is closest to you and how to get involved is search where it is in York you live and what sport it is example “Rawcliffe football club” or “Heworth Cricket club”

Most teams will either have a website, facebook page or a designated contact person that will tell you how to get involved.
